Christina Kasparyan

Expert in regional economic development programming

Christina Kasparyan has obtained Master Degree in European Studies and a certificate from the US Department of Labour as an industrial adjustment specialist; licensed guide of IMP³rove Innovation Management Academy. She has worked in the SME support sector for nearly 20 years. In the period 2010-2018 she has participated as a voting member from Bulgaria in the Steering Groups of Priority Area 8 “Competitiveness of SMEs” and Priority Area 9 “Investing in People and Skills” of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). She has chaired the work of the international working group “Creativity and Entrepreneurship” of EUSDR PA9.
Within the Bulgarian Consortium of Enterprise Europe Network, she has been leading the EEN project team in Ruse in the period 2008-2018 to join consecutively BIA EEN team in October 2018. Within the Network, she is a member of the Sector Group “Creative Industries”.
Ms. Kasparyan has experience in regional economic development programming. She has been part of the team for elaboration of the INTERREG Romania-Bulgaria Programme and a team member for development of regional development strategies and plans in North Central Region.
She has also been a guest lecturer in project management in the master programme of the Bulgarian-Romanian Inter-University Center to the University of Ruse and has participated in numerous EU-funded projects for the last 18 years.
